JD Wellness, LLC is a telemedicine practice providing mental health care, serving clients across Charlotte, North Carolina, and all other areas in North Carolina. 

Jason Darden shapes his professional knowledge of mental health around the belief that everyone deserves easy access to the care and support they need, when they need it. He provides telepsychiatry services for patients with ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and medication management along with various other psychiatric disorders.

At JD Wellness, LLC, Mr. Darden has a patient-centered approach to mental health care. He believes the input from patients is crucial to designing an effective and individualized treatment plan for them. Throughout the treatment process, he will collaborate with you to establish a trusting relationship and will approach each individual situation with the utmost empathy, understanding, and compassion. He began his studies at Sampson Community College, earning his associate degree in nursing before completing his Bachelor of Science in nursing at Gardner Webb University. He went on to pursue further education at the University of Phoenix, achieving his Master of Science in nursing (with a concentration in healthcare administration). 

After his master’s degree, he completed his post master’s degree at Southern Adventist University where he graduated with honors from their Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner’s program. Mr. Darden is a licensed and board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). He has over 18 years of psychiatric nursing experience working with a vast array of patients suffering from numerous psychiatric disorders. Currently not treating Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, Substance abuse, or Addiction at this time.  We look forward to making changes to address treating these diagnosis in the future.
