About Dr. Lane
Robert E. Lane DMD, PA is a cosmetic and general dentist bringing the most modern dental care to people in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Deerfield Beach, Florida at Lane Dental. After obtaining his bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Boston University and his doctor of medicine in dentistry degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, he completed his residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Lane then moved to Florida, where he’s been revitalizing smiles for over 15 years.
Dr. Lane stays on top of the newest trends in dentistry by being curious and chasing new knowledge. You can feel confident choosing a dentist who is capable of treating you with the latest technological advances in dentistry to give you your best smile.
The Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida, fed Dr. Lane’s interest in the intricate details of dental care. It was where he learned how the mouth and teeth work together, with all of their complexities, in a hands-on environment. Dr. Lane’s training energized his interest in reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry, and he is committed to being a top expert in the field.
Dr. Lane is a founding member of a local Spear’s Dental Education study club, which focuses on current trends in dentistry and patient cases. He travels to the Spear Education facility in Scottsdale, Arizona each year for advanced training. Dr. Lane is also a member of the International Team for Implantology Association, and has been a guest speaker at the University of Florida Hialeah Dental Center.
When he’s not seeing patients or learning something new, Dr. Lane enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and two dogs. During his downtime, he likes golfing, photography, attending automotive events, and traveling.
