Mira Women’s Health & Midwifery is a boutique private Obstetrics and Gynecology medical practice in Boca Raton and Hollywood, Florida. 

Mira was founded in 2024 by two board-certified OB/GYN physicians, Dr. Konsker, and Dr. Woodbury, with the single goal of providing world-class, highly-experienced, personalized OB/GYN care to women of all ages in their community.

They chose the name ‘Mira’ for this vision because of its many-layered and poignant meanings. In the Romance languages, it means “wonder” and “to see.” In the Slavic languages, it means “peace.” In Sanskrit, it means “ocean” or “sea,” and in Hebrew, it means “rising water.” It is the Latin origin of the word “miracle” and in Arabic can denote a “female ruler.” This uplifting and assertive inspiration encompassed perfectly their intention to create an intimate practice that supports the well-being and honors the strength of women.

Mira Women’s Health & Midwifery, now with five doctors, three midwives, one physician assistants, one nurse practitioner, and a fleet of highly trained and caring support staff, offers the full array of Obstetric and Gynecologic care in two prime locations, Boca Raton and Hollywood, Florida. These services include well-woman preventative care, gynecologic problem visits, pregnancy care from fertility through postpartum, and in-office procedures such as pelvic ultrasound, hysteroscopic fibroid and polyp removals, and endometrial ablations. Mira’s team cares for women navigating all stages of their healthcare life, from adolescence, sexual naissance, and fertility to peri-menopause, menopause, and beyond. Drs. Konsker, Woodbury, Silfen, Siudmak, and Ufberg are train and experienced in all forms of general Gynecology surgeries, including minimally-invasive, and all doctors and midwives are extremely experienced in labor and delivery.
