Board-certified orthopedist Mitchell Goldstein, MD, is an experienced physician providing exceptional care for men, women, and children living in East Meadow, New York. Dr. Goldstein attended the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont, graduating in 1975 with a bachelor’s degree in science. He completed his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, then undertook an internship in general surgery at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan, New York. He returned to New York Medical College in 1981 for his four-year residency in orthopedics.
Dr. Goldstein’s first role in private practice was at South Nassau Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, PC in Valley Stream, New York. A decade of experience in the role more than prepared him for the move to opening his practice, Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, PC in 1995. Dr. Goldstein has a particular interest in sports medicine and has previously been a team doctor at St. John’s University in New York City, and an orthopedic consultant and team doctor for the United States men’s foil fencing team.
Dr. Goldstein combines his considerable expertise and experience with the latest state-of-the-art technologies and advances in orthopedic medicine to provide his patients with the highest quality services. Dr. Goldstein expertly carries out a range of treatments from steroid injections to minimally invasive surgery.
