Hello! I’m Alma Corvera, your Physician Assistant here at Living Water Clinic. I’d like to tell you a little about myself and how I can help you stay healthy.
My Journey
I began my healthcare career studying dentistry in Mexico, then came to California to earn my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at UC Davis. I’ve been practicing since 1997—first at Tulare Community Clinic and, since 2010, serving the community of Woodlake.
What I Do
Primary care for all ages: From newborn checkups to senior wellness visits, I’m here to partner with you and your family.
Well-child and annual exams: Routine physicals, growth monitoring, and school or sports clearances.
Chronic disease management: I help you navigate diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and other ongoing conditions.
Women’s health: Gynecological exams, prenatal care, and support through every stage of life.
Immunizations & screenings: Keeping up with vaccines and preventive tests to catch issues early.
Sports & work-related injuries: Assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation plans to get you back in the game or on the job safely.
My Promise to You
When you come in, my goal is to listen carefully, explain things in plain language, and involve you in every decision about your care. I believe healthy relationships and clear communication are just as important as medical treatments.
Outside the Clinic
I love spending time outdoors—whether it’s hiking in the Sierra foothills or photographing Central Valley landscapes. Staying active and curious helps me bring fresh energy and perspective to my work with you.

Always addresses any issues, professional, thorough.
Mrs Diaz listens patiently and explains to you what is going I with you situation and what to watch for in terms of symptoms and what you can do to cope or alleviate the symptoms then she offers medication to treat your symptoms & asks questions. Other Drs talk with you for 3 minutes and then leave and you’re left with questions.
Excellent care received. Mrs Diaz takes the time to listen to all your concerns and answers any questions you may have regarding your care.

I enjoy my follow-up appointments with Carolyn Diaz and the staff. They are all great to work with. Carolyn is very through with any result that have come back from test and vaccine's she has wanted me to have.
