I was pleasantly surprised to meet a doctor who made me feel heard, understood, respected, and cared for. As a woman, my experience has been that when facing any medical issue, I had to do the work, and I had to fight to receive tShow morehe care I needed. The purpose of my visit was to seek treatment for perimenopause symptoms, and I had prepared accordingly; I had read books and articles on the subject, kept a detailed record of my symptoms, and had listened to multiple experts online to learn how to approach the problem and how to ask for the proper treatment. It felt like I was preparing to go to the court to present my case. Meeting with Dr. Grove, I soon realized that none was necessary. I could simply be the patient. She was warm, attentive, and well informed. She listened to my concerns and explained her thoughts and my options thoroughly. I felt like the treatment choice was mine to make, which made me feel so much more confident and at ease in the path forward. I would certainly recommend Dr. Grove.
was certain an IUD was best birth control option for me, but was terrified of the process due to the pain/horror stories you hear all about. Dr Grove and her assistant (wish I knew her name) made it so easy and comfortable for me!Show more! She made it very clear that there are options/ways to get this done even if you have anxiety about your individual pain tolerance. She offers lidocaine spray (standard for all) and pain relievers and anxiety reducers beforehand, and she even said IV anesthesia under severe cases! With the help of the pain reliever and anxiety reducer I was able to get it done with as little worry possible- and while it was still an uncomfortable procedure, it was so fast and it was made much much better and beyond bearable by this wonderful care team!! I am so grateful and happy that I am set for so many years of worry free birth control now :)

After growing up in Wisconsin and Michigan, Dr. Grove moved to New England to earn her Bachelor of Arts in English from Yale University. She completed her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, where she met her husband. Dr. Grove then lived in Hartford, Connecticut, for four years during her OB/GYN residency. Before joining the team at New England Women's Healthcare, Dr. Grove worked in a small private practice in Fort Collins, Colorado, for six years.
While she provides a full scope of obstetric and gynecological care, Dr. Grove has special interests in contraception and family planning, vulvar conditions, low and high-risk obstetrics, and minimally invasive gynecology surgery.
Dr. Grove made the move back to Boston to be closer to family and friends, and loves Boston the most out of all of the places she has lived! When she's not caring for patients, she enjoys film, music and dance, visual arts, skiing, taking naps, and cuddling her dogs.

Dr. Grove was wonderful to speak with. She listened and took her time to explain the medications and treatment. I would absolutely recommend her and the practice. The staff was also very kind and helpful.
Although it took months to be seen, Dr.Grove was definitely worth the wait. She is amazing ! She was prompt , professional and understanding to my concerns.
I made an appointment in July and the earliest appointment was January but they told me if I become pregnant call them so I can be seen sooner. I felt lucky that I got pregnant in January after doing IVF for months and had an appointment the same month. The day before my appointment I got a VM at 5:30pm telling me my appointment was cancelled due to the doctor being sick. (Okay no problem, it happens.) so the next day I call and the girl rescheduled me for the following Friday (8weeks pregnant). So I take off work, go to my appointment (35 mins) away just to get there and be told that the Dr. wasn’t there and that they tried to call me to cancel again but I was per the note in the system “unreachable”. Funny I had no missed calls and no one left a VM. The receptionist was basically like oh well… then tried to reschedule me again. I left because I’m not going to book again just for my appointment to be cancelled. I know I’m just another patient but this process has already been tough having to go through IVF but to finally be pregnant and just keep getting dismissed when all I want is to make sure my baby is okay is very disappointing!
Dr. Grove was very caring and took the time to get all my medical history as a new patient. She was very knowledgeable and she really put me at ease at it had been a decade since I had been to a gynecologist. I would highly recommend Dr Grove.
Dr Amy Grove is a highly knowledgeable professional!! I throughly enjoying my treatment with her. All people who work in the clinic are nice. The clinic is super clean!

Dr Grove was amazing during my pregnancy (my first). I loved that I could get my ultrasounds and bloodwork in the same office as the appointments, and ultrasounds were always right before appointments so I didn’t have to wait for results. Dr Grove was a great help navigating the 1,001 decisions you have to make in pregnancy and helping us feel informed. I ended up needing additional monitoring a few times at the hospital and always felt really well cared for by the practice when I was there. A number of doctors from the practice helped me at various times and they were all amazing, particularly Dr Schmidt who ended up delivering our baby. Would 100% recommend to any new or experienced mom.
I recently visited and I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience! Upon entering, I was struck by the elegant ambiance, which exceeded my initial expectations. The staff were exceptionally warm and hospitable, immediately putting me at ease. Moreover, Dr. Grove exhibited a remarkable blend of professionalism and approachability. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to others seeking attentive and comprehensive care.
