About Ashley Tapp

Ashley Tapp, LMSW, is a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Minot State University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of South Dakota. Ashley has experience supporting clients with substance use disorders, severe mental illness, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and behavioral concerns. She also works with couples and families, helping them strengthen communication and build healthier relationships. Her clinical work integrates CBT, DBT, and TF‑CBT with youth ages 12 and older, as well as adults. In addition to her professional training, Ashley spent eight years as a foster parent and is the adoptive mother of two children—an experience that deepened her understanding of attachment, resilience, and the complexities families face.
