I had a bunionectomy a little over two months ago. Dr. Sacks is very professional and good at what he does. Of course in the beginning it was painful and seems like it would take a very long time to recover. 2 months in a week outShow more I am doing great my toe is perfectly straight the scar is completely flat and I'm able to wear normal shoes, and slowly getting back to some sports. I would definitely recommend using dr. Sachs as his bedside manners are very good and his staff is lovely. Anytime I had a question or needed something I would call the office and get very quick response even if dr. Sacks was out of the office. I highly recommend him as a podiatrist. P.s. Do whatever he tells you to do!
I've had foot problems since I was little. Rocky Mountain Foot and Ankle has taken care of all my mobility issues since 2004. Numerous surgeries and realignments. I absolutely love them for helping stay mobile. Dr. Sachs is the Show morebest in giving me the advice I need to hear (even if I don't want to because I'm stubborn sometimes) to make sure I am doing what I need to be doing to ensure my feet stay mobile and not walking and living in daily constant pain. I'm so grateful to have this clinic to look after the health of my feet. I would highly recommend people experiencing foot issues use Rocky Mountain Foot and Ankle Center. I'm so thankful for them. Brett Sachs, DPM, FACFAS is a gifted and compassionate foot and ankle surgeon practicing at Rocky Mountain Foot and Ankle Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. After working in private practice for four years, Dr. Sachs joined Rocky Mountain Foot & Ankle Center in 2005. He is also part owner of the practice.
Besides the common foot and ankle complaints that bring patients to the practice – like ingrown toenails and heel pain – Dr. Sachs has extensive training and experience in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, total ankle replacement, arthroscopy, trauma, sports medicine, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Sachs is board certified in foot surgery as well as reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Sachs earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at the University of Maryland and went on to complete his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1998. He then served a three-year podiatric surgical residency at Highlands/Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver, followed by an orthopedic trauma residency at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco in 2001. Dr. Sachs is a leader in his community and currently serves as faculty for the Highlands-Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program. He has held various academic appointments for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Sachs is a nationally recognized lecturer and instructor of surgical skills workshops. Dr. Sachs has authored textbook chapters in trauma, ankle arthroscopy, and surgery in addition to several publications in peer reviewed clinical and surgical research journals, and expert opinion papers. He has a special interest in reconstructive surgery, the treatment of foot and ankle injuries, and cartilage restoration science. Dr. Sachs is also a manuscript peer reviewer for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and past president of the Colorado Foot & Ankle Society. Dr. Sachs currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Highlands Foot and Ankle Institute and Colorado State Podiatry Board.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Sachs and staff. The staff is very friendly and informative. Scheduling was easy. Dr. Sachs was informative, kind, and did an excellent job on my toenail ablation procedures. After the first procedure on my right foot, it was an easy decision to go back for the second procedure on my left foot. The pain is gone and I'm so relieved. I'm annoyed I waited so long! I've already recommended Dr. Sachs and his team to at least one person.

Dr. Sachs has been great. The surgery was to redo a bunion surgery I had done with another surgeon at Panorama Orthopedics which didn’t work and ended up being worse/hurting more than prior to any surgery. Dr Sachs took a completely different approach to both the surgery and the recovery and my foot is healing well and I’m no longer in pain. The staff is also great. Overall really good experience with the practice and the team.
