Byron Edwards Ph.D., PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant at the Dermatology Center. HIs educational journey began at Brigham Young University where he obtained both a BS degree in psyschology (1981) and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology (1984). His pre-doctoral internship was completed at Yale University. After almost 10 years in a private psychology practice, he returned to school and completed the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Utah School of Medicine (1986). Byron has practiced dermatology for over 25 years.
He is a member of the American Psycological Association, American Acadamy of Physician Assistants, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Byron is married with five children and has 10 grandchildren. He enjoys practicing medicine, activities with his family, and riding dirt bikes in the desert.

Byron Edwards is amazing! He’s competent and caring, AND he makes me laugh. Sherry is also great, as is Ryan Burr. They are good at their jobs! They are also very competent, friendly, kind, and caring!

Byron Edward's didn't biopsy any skin lessons, so I assume I have no cancer spots.
Dr Byron is so easy to talk to. He listens to you as a person and is there to help figure things out based on what you share along with his skilled experience. I would recommend him to anyone young or old.
