About Casey Obstfeld, LPCMH

I believe the therapeutic relationship can be one of the most powerful tools in the therapeutic process, especially when there is a history of childhood trauma, injuries, and hurt. I listen with patience, curiosity, compassion, and without judgment, hoping the client can feel safe enough to share their story and explore their feelings without worry or fear of judgement. My approach to treatment is trauma-informed and I have advanced training in the Ego State Therapy Model (EST) and Clinical Hypnosis. Often with complex trauma or dissociative disorders, one can experience inner conflict among parts. EST focuses on exploring and working with the different parts of our selves and can produce results and relief.​ When integrative clinical hypnosis, one can access and explore states of self that they may not be aware of. This can help to increase awareness as well as assist in exploring solutions to a variety of problems or conflict.
