I thought that everyone in the office setting is so sweet. My surgery day I felt like they were like hurry get her out, as soon I was let down from lay down position it was like put you coat on leave. Weird feeling. I been thru 5 Show moresurgery’s and this was just one time Thank God! Dr Nedrud was awesome and very supportive! Hope they slow down on afternoon patients we feel rushed at times. Very thorough, reviewed results of the various eye tests with me and status of both eyes. Gave upgrade options for two other lens types, pros and cons of each, at additional cost per lens. Said most patients undergoing lens replShow moreacement opt for distance vision with reader glasses for arm’s length (1.5) and reading or close work (2.5). He said he is on vacation next week but someone will call me with a list of dates and times to select for my surgeries so I can get them scheduled.
Chad Nedrud, MD, is a talented ophthalmologist and cornea and refractive surgery specialist on the team of renowned doctors at Rocky Mountain Eye Care Center. He works with patients at the practice’s office in Missoula, Montana.
Dr. Nedrud graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. He then relocated to Tucson, Arizona, to complete a research fellowship in the department of ophthalmology at the University of Arizona. He’s published numerous papers focused on LASIK/LASEK surgery and intracameral antibiotics.
Dr. Nedrud stayed at the University of Arizona for his internship and ophthalmology residency, serving as the chief resident. He finished his training at the University of California, San Diego’s Shiley Eye Center in San Diego, where he completed a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery. During his time there, he was also the attending physician and worked as a clinical instructor in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery.
In his practice, Dr. Nedrud specializes in laser refractive and corneal surgery and the treatment of cataracts.

Everyone was pleasant and helpful.
Very professional as was the entire staff from start to finish. Most happy the questions prior to surgery were handled quickly through e mails or personal phone call backs. Dr Nedrud himself gave me calls prior to surgery and I really appreciated that. This is a harrowing experience since we all have just one set of eyes. I have entered the " winter " of life and desire to " see " it to the finish.
Preliminary exams were all done professionally by caring young ladies. Dr Nedrud was thorough in both his examination of my eyes and in his explanation of his findings afterward. I am still in the process of getting rid of cataracts, but so far, so good. In fact, I called my brother the next day and recommended he get an appointment with Dr Nedrud at Rocky Mountain Eye.
I went in for an eye exam to clean up my toric lens and ended up getting the eye lasered. It was great to see again and I was appreciative that I didn't have to make another appointment to do so. Awesome!!!!

Dr. Nedrud has done excellent working saving my eye, he explained every thing that was happening to my eye and started working on it right away to rehabilitate it. His plan fixed my eye and I would recommend his work to anyone who wants quality care. I know I'm thankful!

Dr. Nedrud is a great listener, he answered all my concerns and allayed any worries I had about the surgeries. He and all the staff at the Center, including Dr. Babcock, were very efficient, personable, and helpful so that there was no long waiting in between procedures and I was out of there in no time.
