Dr Pallia seemed disinterested and even irritated by my returning to see him after 6 months about a vexing and painful problem which for more than 7 months has prevented me from exercise and limited even activities of daily livingShow more. It started with a specific injury event: I lifted a heavy box which caused immediate sensation of a stake being driven into my hip/butt. This pain has continued for 7 months. There is no question that I have spinal stenosis issues which will require spinal surgery but the recovery from that surgery requires a great deal of walking. I saw Dr Pallia in an effort to determine if there could be another problem/ injury which might inhibit my ability to walk. Dr Pallia had previously diagnosed bursitis or a muscle strain but there has been no improvement in 7 months. Moreover I never had pain in trocanter area. Dr Pallia’s physical exam was so rough that it has caused pain which lingers to today. I will never go back to see him.
Dr. Pallia was professional yet friendly. I had come in with plantar fasciitis, which he gave me a shot of Cortizone and then a referral for orthotics to be made. Unfortunately I was unable to purchase the orthotics due to my insuShow morerance, not covering the cost. In my follow up appointment, Dr. Pallia gave me several options of where to purchase orthotics to prevent the return of the planter fasciitis. I hope I don’t have any future problems with my feet, but having flat feet does not guarantee that we will not cross paths again. His office staff is also very friendly and helpful .

This is my second time having Dr Pallia fix me up. First time I tore off a bicep muscle, this time he repaired it rotator cuff tear and while he was at it he cleaned out my AC joint. In both cases I have completely recovered. The office staff were efficient and overall it was a good experience.

Dr. Pallia, I feel confused because of the urgent care experience last week. My leg was healing up to a point, and then I let it go thru homework....had to work....my leg stopped healing I could tell from the leg's not working properly. It looks like that is OK for you --- because you said that you could do surgery if there is more "unusual pain from the knee to the foot.....hug amounts of pain when walking." I guess I am trusting you to let my leg go as it is.....when walking 3,300 steps (30 minutes) of walking time each day. I'm humbling my attitude.
While Dr. Pallia lacks a very engaging "bedside manner" he is an excellent surgeon! He has performed two different surgeries on me and I have tremendous respect for his medical talent and abilities.
