Christian Smith, DPM, is a skilled podiatrist practicing at the offices of Dan Preece, DPM & Darren Groberg, DPM, a branch of Utah Musculoskeletal Specialists, serving patients in and around Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Smith received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University. He then went on to Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona, where he completed his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. He was accepted into the Intermountain Medical Center Residency program, where he completed a three-year residency in forefoot and reconstructive rearfoot surgery, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. He has joined Dr. Groberg and Dr. Preece as a new associate at the Salt Lake Podiatry Center in their newly expanded office which now includeds on site MRI services.
Dr. Smith loves to be outside during the summer months, fishing, mountain biking, and playing golf. His favorite way to stay active is to play pickleball with his friends! During the winter, Christian enjoys staying inside, reading books, and playing board games with those closest to him.

I've had some really "off the wall" situations with my toes and one small wound that all resolved 100% under Dr. SMITHS care. He's so knowledgeable and willing to teach as he treats us. I really appreciate his explaining and involving me in my treatments. I really don't think there's anyone as professional and caring as Dr. SMITH. HE'S A RARE BREED OF doctor and the best I've ever met.

Dr Smith was great, very professional and straightforward, taking his time to explain his findings in regards to the condition I was experiencing and the treatment options. The appointments never feel like they're being rushed through, almost as if I was the only patient he was seeing that day and gave a real sense of caring about my well being and the best treatment options.
