I cannot thank Christine Ashton enough. the FNP-C, who took care of me of late at the Cleaver Medical Center, for the way she quickly recognized that a foot ailment that had gotten serious caused me to have Cellulitis and needed iShow moremmediate attention. I made it clear when I communicated with the staff member that saw me first that my right foot, which I had sustained a toe operated on a couple of weeks back, had gotten seriously inflamed and had me greatly in pain. This appointment was supposed to be my annual visit to check my body for various skin cancers/issues that FNP-C Ashton had dealt with previously. My whole body is underdoing issues basically from head to toe, from type 2 Diabetes, kidney issues, veinous insufficiency issues on both legs, an esophagus problem, poor hearing, gastroenterology concerns and a loss of appetite that had seen my weight drop to 148.7 a few weeks back. But in spite of all the noted issues noted above, the foot had become the one most pressing, literally and figuratively, because a friend of mine that died a few years ago, first lost a toe, then his ankle, then right knee up to his knee as a result of uncontrolled Diabetes issues that had spiraled out of control. Obviously, that was something that I was hoping to avoid. I don't know that I'm out of the proverbial woods yet with the right foot issue, but thanks to Mrs. Ashton's expert handling of my infirmary, the pain has greatly decreased and the extreme redness on that foot has really waned. Great experience! Follow-up from my Mohs procedure. The area is healing very well! There were a couple of spots on my face that needed to be proactively handled and were frozen. Office visit was awesome, friendly and It was a pleaShow moresure meeting Christine! Made me feel as though everything was fine and we’ll do a follow-up in 6 months for a checkup. My experience here was absolutely awesome, thank you!
Christine Ashton, FNP-C, is a licensed and certified family nurse practitioner at Cleaver Dermatology and Aesthetics. She sees patients at our office in Dawsonville, Georgia.
Christine received both her undergraduate and graduate training at the Medical College of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Christine brings a wealth of experience from her four years as a registered nurse in a hospital-based emergency department and the last nine years in internal medicine. Most recently, she has practiced dermatology at Skin Care Physicians of Georgia in Macon, Georgia, and we are thrilled to have her expertise in our field.
Christine is originally from Thomaston, Georgia. She’s happily married, has a son, and enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling. She recently relocated to Cumming, Georgia, and she’s excited to join the team and continue her passion for dermatology care.

I came in for advice on a non urgent condition, plus removing some skin tags and cysts. She was able to immediately take care of the skin tags, schedule the cyst. She made sure to address my concerns and left me feeling comfortable with the care.

I came in for a procedure, after stating that I was a little queasy and anxious about it, they did a great job keeping me calm and reassuring me, as well as providing juice and ice packs to keep me comfortable. The procedure was quick and in very grateful
