I really like the doctors and NPs that work here. The front desk is a different story. I never know when to arrive to my appts. They say arrive 15 mins early but if you’re not 15 mins early, you’re late. Then I had a glucose test Show morescheduled and I thought my appt was 3:35. I arrived at 3:15 because I’m driving from work/ Centerville and have to take a half day off work. I thought I had plenty of time for the test.. nope! I was told I was late and they couldn’t do it today. Plus I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to be fasting. So I went all day without eating. I even called to see what time I should arrive for the glucose test. They said 3:15! I think the front desk needs to be friendlier. I also work in health care and I can’t believe some of the comments I hear behind the desk in the waiting room.
Having not been there in awhile and not recognizing anyone, I admit to being uneasy about returning. From the moment I arrived, I was immediately put at ease with warm smiles and pleasantries from all staff. The nurse was attentivShow moree, nice and made me feel comfortable. As a longtime patient of Dr. David Billing (top notch to say the least), I found Dr. Nessleroade to be completely trustworthy, putting my anxieties at ease. He kindly answered my questions, taking the time to explain every aspect of my examination. I left the office feeling truly cared for. Those converse Dr. N wore seem the right fit for me in filling Dr. B’s vast shoes!
Daniel Nesselroade, MD, became part of the Physicians and Surgeons for Women in Springfield, Ohio, in 1999. Board-certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Nesselroade has spent the past 26 years committed to women’s health both here and abroad.
After graduating cum laude with a degree in biology from Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky, Dr. Nesselroade received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, where he graduated with honors. He completed his OB/GYN residency at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, before traveling to Antwerp, Belgium. There, Dr. Nesselroade received his Tropical Medicine Certificate from Prince Leopold Institute for Tropical Medicine.
Upon completing his Tropical Medicine Certificate, Dr. Nesselroade served as a missionary physician in the Sikasso region of Mali, Africa. During the eight years he spent there, Dr. Nesselroade served as the medical director for the Koutiala Hospital for Women and Children.
Continuing his commitment to women’s health worldwide, Dr. Nesselroade has spent 11 years of his career on mission trips in both Europe and Africa. Locally, his patients commend his kindness and compassion, as well as his calming presence.

He is a dying breed of physician’s who still takes the time to listen to your heart and lung sounds. He is actually the Dr who found a goiter on my thyroid 25 plus years ago. The first time I went to Dr Nesselroade was for a second opinion. Another gynecologist humiliated me and diagnosed me with genitalia warts. Dr Nesselroade took the time to biopsy the area and it came back lichen sclerosis, which is a rare skin disease. He is knowledgeable, passionate and respectful of women’s health. I highly and personally recommend him.
