Dr. Preece was honest and upfront, he didn’t sugarcoat a thing. One thing I also loved was that we didn’t need to schedule an appointment for an appointment, for an appointment to discuss treatment. Surgery was scheduled at the aShow moreppointment but after letting the receptionist know I wasn’t from the state and didn’t know what pharmacy to select, she just left me hanging and sent me on my way and suggested I look up pharmacies rather than letting me know what was near the surgical center, because again, at that point, I don’t know the area nor where the place was. However, the care and attention I received from Dr. Preece is what counted, not the lack of help from the receptionist
Amazing surgeon, great listener with the willingness to try what is best for the patient. I had to switch doctors and ended up going to Dr. Preece. I am so glad I had to change doctors in hindsight! What was ignored by a previous Show moredoctor, Dr. Preece showed concern for and did his best to determine what it was and correct it. Dr. Preece completed his undergraduate degree at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, graduating summa cum laude and as class valedictorian. He performed his residency through the Intermountain Medical Center (IMC) Podiatry Residency Program in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Preece is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He's a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medicine Association, as well as a board member of the Utah Podiatric Medical Association. A volunteer faculty member at IMC Podiatry Residency Program, he provides surgical and clinical training for podiatry residents.
A noted lecturer, Dr. Preece has delivered more than 10 case presentations at the IMC Podiatric Residency Program. He's proud to work with students and develop training materials for the next generation of podiatrists.
When he isn't lecturing or helping patients, Dr. Preece enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending time with his wife and four children.

Had a plantar wart for almost a decade. Dr. Preece was the doc who finally got rid of it for me. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere!
Conservative, my first doctor wanted to do a way more invasive surgery. Did an amazing job on my foot. Not rushing the healing, making sure it heals properly. I feel confident I will get back full use of my foot when the healing process is over. Answers all my questions and I never feel rushed. In every way I have had a great experience.
