Dr. Finke is an incredible doctor. He's been my primary OB for year now and was instrumental in assisting with and overseeing my pregnancy journey for years now. I just had my first child at the age of 45 and I can't tell you hoShow morew grateful I am for Dr. Finke. For most of my life I have had a major fear of giving birth. I think this is one of the main reasons I had such a difficult time getting pregnant. Regardless of what I did I just couldn't let go of the fear and it really held me back. When I finally got pregnant after a long IVF journey, I cried privetly throughout my whole pregnancy out of fear. I look back now and have to admit that Dr. Finke did not disappoint. He was incredible throughout this whole process. He guided me in every way and always reassured me that everything will be OK. I have to admit that I didn't believed him at first. When the day finally arrived it was nothing like I had imagined it to be. I had THE BEST birthing experience!!! We arranged for an induction because of age & gestational diabetes. It was recommended that I deliver at 39 weeks. I have to say it was the most organized, calm and relaxed experience. I had ZERO pain throughout the whole process. I slept the whole day leading up to my epidural and throughout the night as we were waiting for the dilation to occur. The next day early morning I started pushing and in 2 hours my little Angel arrived. I had minimal tearing and was up on my feet in a few hours. Dr. Finke has awesome bedside manners and was extremely supportive and understanding. It's 4 months later and I keep having flash backs of my experience and I have nothing but great memories and I'm so thankful I was under Dr. Finke's care! He truly is the BEST Doctor and I highly recommend him. Shout out to Silva as well because she's an awesome nurse and also cheered me up whenever I showed my fear during check-ups. Thankful for the both of them!
I have Dr. Finke for my two baby deliveries. First was 2013 and second was October 2022. I would have Dr. Finke if I have third baby in the future for sure. The second time was different and difficult. I am 41, and at the week of Show more24th, I was diagnosed preeclampsia when I visited Dr. Finke's office for 24th week's check up. I was directly sent to Cedars and that was the best decision after all. I did not know anything about preeclampsia at the time, and had no idea what high-risk pregnant is. I stayed 3 weeks in MFCU (high risk pregnancy care unit) and Dr. Finke visited me several times regularly in order to help me understand the situation clear and always he relieved me. I was confused and scared because of the possibility of premature delivery, however whenever I met my doctor, I could feel calm and I could understand the situation confidently. When I finally decided to deliver the baby, he came right away to do the surgery in the midnight. I cannot say enough that that was most relieved moment of all the three week journey. Now my baby is in NICU with professional care. I am also grateful that I have Dr. Finke as my OB/GYN that he had privilege at Cedars. I really appreciate all the advice, explanations from him and also his kindness. Thank you so much.

A Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Finke received his undergraduate and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2006. He completed his post-graduate training as Administrative Chief Resident at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he received the award for Outstanding Academic Achievement and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Award. I'm so grateful for Dr. Finke. I came to his care when I miscarried and have been with him ever since. He found the lump in my breast last year that I did not notice. My sister had aggressive breast cancer so it means a lot that he caught that (it was benign) and then later referred me to a place where I could get speedy testing when more scary lumps appeared. He's an invaluable part of my taking care of myself and does so with so much kindness. Please forever take my insurance, Dr. Finke. haha no seriously. Please.
As an ambitious, perfectionistic, and curious mom, I have found no better match in a care provider than Dr.Finke. Dr.Finke has cared for me in all three of my pregnancies. I am the type who wants all the information but also wants to be able to have a collaborator with my doctor. Someone who will review the statistics with me but doesn’t reduce me to a number. Dr. Finke doesn’t prescribe blanket rules; he takes the time to understand the nuance of the patient as an individual. There was nothing more important to me than having my voice heard in the process of pregnancy, and Dr. Finke does that and more (including fielding hours of questions and theoretical musings about pregnancy, fertility, and modern womanhood!). He will be sure your voice is heard, respected, and valued. Being sweet, fun, and cheerful are added bonuses. I believe Dr.Finke is also curious, ambitious, and fluent in medical advances; you can be sure your care is the best available because you know he wouldn’t be satisfied to provide anything less!!

Dr. Finke was so kind and knowledgeable. He took his time in the appointment, I didn't feel rushed at all. I was nervous about switching doctors. I had my old one for 14 years, but I am so glad I did. He is amazing. I would highly recommend him.
Best experience with an OBGYN I have ever had. Someone should quite literally protect this man at all costs. He is gentle and kind and really takes the time to listen without feeling like your questions or concerns are being pushed off.
