Love the staff but I personally was not feeling well today. So I left without asking questions I KNOW they would have answered. But I tried to hide how miserable I felt. I do trust Dr. Streeter & I have been to other bioTE docShow mores before I moved to Indiana. He's extremely reasonable compared to the "deals" I would get "buying packages." Just an all around good man & doc. The staff knows I've got many health issues along w/my 91 year old mom in law w/us who's in 4th stage Alzheimer's. They care.
I always feel that thoughtful and caring people are helping me each time I come to Dr. Streeter's office. I appreciate the way he listens and doesn’t ignore my concerns. Dennis Streeter, DO, FAAOS is a triple-board-certified surgeon who specializes in general surgery and anti-aging medicine. His family-oriented surgical practice in Merrillville, Indiana, has served the residents of the greater northwestern Indiana region for more than 40 years.
Dr. Streeter received his medical degree from the Chicago School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1971. He completed his internship and residency training at Chicago Osteopathic Hospital before undertaking a fellowship in urological surgery at the University of Chicago Hospital and Clinics. Subsequent fellowships in vascular, thoracic, and cardiovascular surgery followed.
Dr. Streeter has a wide breadth of medical experience; he’s been a trauma surgeon, head of surgery boards at local hospitals, and the president of national osteopathic medicine boards. Presently, he’s a liaison to the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
As an osteopathic surgeon, Dr. Streeter has always believed in taking a natural approach to health care. In recent years, he furthered his education in natural medicine and became a certified provider of BioTE® bioidentical hormone replacement pellet therapy. In 2008, he was certified as a Fellow through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Patients know Dr. Streeter for his upbeat demeanor and caring bedside manner, and his personable, close-knit team take pride in delivering comfort beyond expectations. He’s affiliated with St. Mary Medical Center of Hobart, Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, and Broadwest Specialty Surgery Center in Merrillville.
As someone who has always had a heart for serving others, Dr. Streeter has been active as a local college physician since 1972. He has eight children and 26 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and enjoys spending time with family and friends at his home on the shores of Lake Michigan.

This was pellet visit the last time I did the pellet I was sore for the next 10 weeks, and I'm still sore on that side. The doctordr did the pellet himself this time. And I don't have any pain at all...very satisfied

You feel a very personal relationship when going to Dr. Streeter. Takes a lot of time with you and takes a very personal interest in his patients. Only negative is that the information that they ask their patients to submit is, in my opinion, too invasive.
The staff has always given great service. Dr. Streeter is such an excellent caring doctor. My husband and I have confidence in his recommendations. He is a doctor that sits with us in the office listening carefully. We don't live in Indiana any longer but travel back with our few medical needs to stay under his care.
Dr. Streeter is by far the nicest doctor I have ever known. He is so positive and just kind and gracious. There's a lot of doctors out there that could take a lesson or two from Dr. Streeter.
Dr. Streeter and his wife Julie are both wonderful! I have sebaceous cysts on my scalp and he was able to remove 3 of them. He and his wife were very caring and were very thorough. Very happy and thankful with the care I received!
