Since becoming a patient of Dr. Turners I have been pleased with there services when I was sooo afraid they always assured me that every was going to be alright, they always thoroughly explain everything to me and put me at ease aShow morebout things that I am so afraid of. I had to get a D&C procedure done and I was so afraid I was up all night researching but the next morning I came into surgery and I saw Dr. Turner all my fears went out of the window when he said “ this procedure is safer than that ride you took to get here today” and that’s when I was ready lol I went in and didn’t ask another question and just as he said everything went perfectly. Everything was painless and successful because him and Mrs. Kathy had advised me of everything to do prior and after my surgery. Then today was my colposcopy and I was in fear of that as well until Dr.Turner explained everything to me and it went very well, I missed several appointments for my colposcopy procedure and everytime Mrs. Kathy called me and made sure she rescheduled for me, that made me feel good, they made me feel like they cared sometimes they cared more than I did. I love this team.
Staff was great as usual, my appointment went on time. Dr. Navarro has kept me healthy and out of the operating room since she took over my care a decade ago. I trust her implicitly, and having battled endometriosis my entire adulShow moret life, she has kept me pain free and surgery free, and my quality of life improved exponentially with her care. She really takes the time to educate her patients and make them feel comfortable. Choosing Dr. Navarro for my healthcare was one of the best decisions I ever made. Her nurse Tara is equally wonderful. They, along with the rest of the staff are an amazing team.
Dr. Dina Navarro is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has been seeing patients of all ages at The Women’s Group in Pensacola, Florida since 2013.
Dr. Navarro attended The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences. She then attended New York University in New York City where she was a Masters of Science Candidate in Biology. Dr. Navarro earned her medical degree at Nova/Southeastern University of Health Sciences in Davie, Florida. Her internship was completed at Long Beach Memorial Hospital in Long Beach, New York where she was Chief Medical Intern. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine based at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. Prior to joining The Women’s Group in September 2013, she practiced in the Pace/Milton, Florida area for over 15 years.
Dr. Navarro is a past chair of the OB/Gyn Department at Sacred Heart Hospital and Santa Rosa Medical Center and has served on numerous hospital committees. She is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the Florida State University College of Medicine and is a member of the Clinical Faculty for the OB/Gyn Residency Program. Dr. Navarro is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, the Escambia County Medical Society and the Healthy Start Coalition.
Dr. Navarro has a special interest in adolescent medicine and teaching and has done research in the past in developmental biology. She has privileges at Sacred Heart and Baptist Hospitals and performs some surgeries using the daVinci Surgical System. Dr. Navarro grew up in New York. She has been married to Jose for over 25 years and they have a son Dante who recently graduated from the International Baccalaureate Programme at Pensacola High School. She enjoys baseball, tennis, the beach, traveling, music and spending time with her family.

Dr. Navarro and The Women's Group create the perfect combination of caring and efficiency. I never feel rushed at this practice, but I don't feel that my time is wasted either. I always feel comfortable with Dr. Navarro, and she allows plenty of time to discuss whether any new issues have cropped up. Always a good experience with her and The Women's Group.
Love Dr Navarro. My sister used her with all 3 of hey pregnancies as well as my sister in law with her twins. Thorough and informative. Said I was doing better and hope I have a healthy pregnancy. I'm currently 8 weeks 3 days. I go back April 4 when I'm 12 weeks. I just need to maintain my diabetes and just keep the blood sugar levels in check.

I have been seeing Dr. Turner since he began practicing and have loved him from the beginning. He is very caring and an excellent doctor and surgeon. I will certainly miss him when he returned month.
Dr. Turner practices from the heart. He is the only true doctor I have had and I have been with him over 30 years. Always listening always caring and always making me feel like a valued person. What he gives is something not taught. The medical field has been enriched by his presence.
