Donald Menya, D.O., is a compassionate and hardworking board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. He has been in practice since 2014 and sees patients at The Howard Center, with locations in Covington, Valdosta, Moultrie, Warner Robins, Leesburg, Douglas, Tifton, and Waycross, Georgia.
A native of Kenya, Dr. Menya first moved to the United States when he was 22 years old. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Minnesota in 2003. He attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences from 2003-2007 and then graduated in 2009 from the Pikeville College of Osteopathic Medicine as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York, in 2013.
Dr. Menya administers care to women of all ages and backgrounds facing female reproductive and gynecologic issues. He aims to provide this specialized care with an evidence-based yet personalized approach, bridging the gap between each patient and their goals. Dr. Menya loves that he is able to witness firsthand a woman’s life positively impacted by helping them with issues such as infertility, pain, cancer, etc.

Love The Experience
He was great! Made me feel comfortable and let me know everything he was doing.
It was good but I had to wait over an hour to see the doctor. I has a 2 hour drive and then had a long wait time.

I love the Howard Center. I drive all the way from Valdosta to come to the Tifton office. I had a rough experience at another off and the Ladies at the Howard Center have put me at ease the whole time. This is our first pregnancy and its been a great experience. This last appointment, Savannah had me cracking up.
Everyone was nice and I would definitely recommend going to The Howard Center!

Dr. Menya took his time explaining everything to me. He noticed when I became overwhelmed and uncomfortable and walked me through it. Then had me repeat to him the info to make sure I understood. He gave me confidence not only in the procedure but also in him.
He is honesty, truthful and was super understanding.
They made me feel very comfortable during an uncomfortable procedure.

Extremely stressful.... I had to wait entirely too long... I think it is inappropriate to have to present urine sample in front of entire waiting room. Patient needs to be given more information... I had 4 people in the ultrasound room and no one was telling me anything. Patients should have undress and redress multiple times.
My doctor visit was experience I've never encountered on because I was pleased with Dr.Menya and associates that was in the room made me very comfortable and relaxed. Thank you
