Dr. Imanirad helped me when 3 other doctors said they didn't know what I had or how to treat it. She is so caring and thoughtful, She said in the beginning she wasn't sure of my problem, but was going to help me. For months I was Show morebroke out and itching from head to toe. She is an Amazing, kind, and concerned Doctor. I have had major issues for 20 plus years. Multiple sclerosis, amputation, kidney cancer, heart attack. This was the worst. She not only is helping me, I feel like she is my friend. I can't say Thank You to her enough. She is a Blessing to Me.
I have struggled since 2020 to get someone to listen regarding my child’s symptoms. As a result, my child suffered. Donya S. Imanirad, MD, MS, is an allergist and immunologist with a background in internal medicine. She works with the Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Associates team in Tampa and Brandon, Florida.
Dr. Imanirad was raised in Gainesville, Florida, where she completed her undergraduate degree and minored in Spanish. She later obtained her master’s degree in medical sciences and taught anatomy and physiology to college students while performing translational and clinical research for some time.
She received her medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, Florida. After finishing medical school, Dr. Imanirad completed her residency and fellowship training at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
Dr. Imanirad is passionate about preventing and treating childhood and adult allergies and asthma. She's also passionate about managing urticaria and angioedema, among other focuses like primary immunodeficiency conditions.
