My 2 sons are patients of Dr. Rodriguez and he has always been very thorough in checking their teeth and also very kind and gentle with them. He takes the time to explain what work needs to be done, and he always knows how to keepShow more the patient calm. My oldest son has very sensitive gums but he was able to sit through the check up and this was due to the excellence shown by Dr. Rodriguez. The dentist that we had before this almost brought my youngest son to tears as she was so rough with him and had no patience. She was working against the clock and not thinking about the patient. This is not a trait I like to see in a dentist and thankfully by the Grace of God a colleague of mine recommended Dr. Rodriguez and I will be getting all their treatment through him. It is so important to know that your children are in good hands.
I like the Dr. and his assistant - both were very nice and professional. But ... I won't go there again, as I am still waiting to hear from the secretary, how much would the treatment should cost to me. I am waiting more than a moShow morenth, for that phone call! According to the lady at the reception, they must send the X-rays and treatment for an insurance approval. I called the insurance, they didn't get anything from them, and also said that the dentist doesn't have to send them anything, just to bill them.
Francisco Rodriguez, DMD, shares his dental excellence with the families of the Falls Church, Virginia, community at Gentle Touch Dental PC. Prior to his work in private practice, Dr. Rodriguez spent eight years serving the nation’s finest sailors and the U.S. Marines as a lieutenant commander in the United States Navy.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Rodriguez received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. He then joined our nation’s military forces and earned his postgraduate degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) from the Balboa Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California.
Once he completed his active duty commitment in February 2017, Dr. Rodriguez earned the Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal for excellence and impact during his mission. He’s currently fulfilling the requirements for a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
Dr. Rodriguez remains committed to developing his skills and expertise in the dental field with continuing education and current memberships with the AGD and American Dental Association (ADA). By enriching his knowledge and staying up-to-date on dental advancements, Dr. Rodriguez can provide his patients with proud smiles.
When he’s not designing smiles, Dr. Rodriguez spends quality time with his wife, two daughters, and friends. As an avid sports fan, he serves his community in various mentoring and coaching capacities. His peers recognize him for his empathy, humble demeanor, and witty sense of humor.

Dr. Rodriguez is a very knowledgeable and skilled dentist. He is enthusiastic about his profession and work, and he has a warm and genuine manner. He listens well, explains clearly his assessments and recommendations, and takes time to ensure patients feel well informed and at ease before he proceeds. He has been especially good in working with our kids and making their visits to the dentist positive experiences. We’re so glad we found him and his wonderful staff. Can’t recommend all of them enough!

Experience was great, but the admin staff not so much. While friendly, this practice's policy of sending a text that says they will automatically cancel your appointment if they don't hear from you before 4pm ON THE DAY OF THE TEXT is ridiculous. The text itself says that you have to cancel within 48 hours, so it makes NO sense that they give you what amounts to less than 8 hours.
