Dr. Llewellyn is an excellent dermatologist. He does very thorough examinations. He finds and treats all potential skin problems before they can develop into something more serious. He is also a skilled Mohs Surgeon. I have hadShow more some skin cancers removed by Dr Llewellyn. He is very particular and takes great pride in his work. None of the skin cancers have returned after his surgery. I have been going to Dr. Llewellyn for over 17 years and have always been pleased with my experience with his practice.
Only reason for 4, not 5 stars is their annoying habit of too many appointment reminders. I had a recorded phone call, after which I confirmed that I’d be there. Then 4 more text messages including yesterday and today while I was Show morebrushing my teeth to go to the appointment! Enough - no, too much already! Visits are fine, care and attentiveness are good. But once you’ve had my confirmation, stop reminding. Thank you

He has seen, diagnosed, and treated numerous conditions and complex cases. He grew up all over the country and has called 12 different places home throughout his lifetime.
Dr. Llewellyn moved to Santa Barbara because of its small-town feel, where he could comfortably settle down, raise a family, and pursue his passion for improving skin health and the overall wellness of patients of all ages.
In his free time, Dr. Llewellyn enjoys hiking, biking, surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, running, camping, and participating in other outdoor activities with his wife and three beautiful girls.

Great care
Dr Llewellyn is always on top of things. He noticed what turned out to be a squamous on my shin. He did a scrape and burn in his office and it seems to have turned out nicely. He has done several MOHS surgeries on my face and you can't see a scar.
No waiting. Gets right to business. Finds things that need finding.

Outstanding staff and extremely talented physician. Nice clean facility, very prompt and cordial staff, very positive experience on every visit. One of the most impressive things I have noticed is how they always accommodate patients with immediate concerns. None of this “we are booked 4 months in advance” stuff. They will get you in almost immediately for pressing issues.

I am new patient, ladies at front desk greeted me with a smile at check in. I only waited 5 min. till the lovely nurse bought me back, she was very friendly and asked me a few questions before bringing in Dr. Llewwllyn . The Dr. has a great beside manner, answerered all my medical questions and adressed my concerns. Great office!
