A native of Claremont, California, Dr. Dominguez attended the University of California, San Diego, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Spanish Literature. He went on to earn his medical degree with a merit-scholarship at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Upon graduating medical school in 1999, Dr. Dominguez returned to Southern California to completed his residency at Sharp Grossmont Family Medicine Residency Program and Long Beach Memorial’s Family Medicine Residency program.
Dr. Dominguez is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, California Academy of Family Physicians, and the San Diego County Medical Society.
In his free time, Dr. Dominguez enjoys any activities that involve the outdoors. His current passion is trail running. He’s found a solid core of men who love it as much as he does. When the pandemic hit, and their annual 24-hour-Ragnar race was cancelled, Dr. Dominguez and his crew ran from one side of the Grand Canyon to the other. For Father’s Day this same crew will run their first 50K in Big Bear.
He has been married for 20 years and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
