Dr. Hunt surgically removed a small cyst from my face near my nose. I felt no pain ( after the numbing shot), and hours later, I still have no pain. I will return in a week to have the stitches removed. Dr. Hunt also froze a smaShow morell spot on my cheek. Everyone in the office was polite, kind, and professional. I would recommend Dr. Hunt to anyone needing a dermatologist.
Haley Hunt, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist at Soine Dermatology & Aesthetics in Covington and Hammond, Louisiana. She is passionate about all aspects of skin health and is excited to share her expertise in the Hammond area. Despite being born in Hawaii and growing up in Texas, the people and culture of southern Louisiana stole her heart, and she decided to stay for good after completing her residency training in New Orleans.
Dr. Hunt has special interests in treating acne, melanoma and other skin cancers, hair loss, psoriasis, and eczema, and loves to investigate a good rash. She is skilled in a variety of procedures, including cosmetic injectables (such as Botox or Dysport, fillers, Sculptra, and sclerotherapy for spider veins), as well as excisional surgeries for the removal of skin cancers, cysts, or lipomas, also incision and drainage of inflamed cysts, and nail avulsions or other nail procedures.
Dr. Hunt completed her Bachelor of Science in biology at Concordia University Texas, where she graduated summa cum laude and was awarded as a Distinguished Scholar Athlete for being the only student-athlete to date who graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA while competing in sports all four years-even earning a Conference Championship for cross country her senior year. She completed her medical education at Paul L. Foster School of Medicine-Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, where she earned an esteemed Foster Scholarship. She completed both her internship in internal medicine and her dermatology residency training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where she served as Chief Resident her senior year.
In her free time, Dr. Hunt enjoys spending time with high school sweetheart David, typically exercising and staying active, cooking/baking, crafting, or otherwise exploring the delectable food scene. She loves any reason to dress up, especially a good costume opportunity. You can also find her taking her sweet pup, Bessy, on long runs around the city.

Very professional, quick and skillful
Dr. Hunt is always easy to speak with and explains everything. Also want to say that the staff at that office is outstanding and always greets everyone that visits the office.
She was very professional. I liked her style of her interaction with her patient. She was very nice to talk with and she showed that she was caring with her patient. If I had a question she was able to answer it with her way of talking. She was a very nice person. I had my 2nd visit there and I will continue to go with her.
