Inam Haq, MD, FACS, is a dedicated vascular and general surgeon, and the founder and director of Laser & Varicose Vein Treatment Center. With more than 35 years of experience, Dr. Haq provides personalized and detail-oriented care for the treatment of varicose veins and vein disorders in Midland Beach of Staten Island and Borough Park of Brooklyn, New York. He believes in treating every patient like family, and his motto is “excellence in care,” one patient at a time.
Dr. Haq earned his medical doctorate from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, before relocating to the United States. He is board certified in general surgery and completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Haq is a fellow in good standing with the American College of Surgeons, the Vascular Society of New York, and the American College of Phlebology.
Dr. Haq has completed more than 12,000 vein procedures and has been recognized as “America’s Top Surgeon” for multiple years. He is an assistant professor of surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City and is an attending general and vascular surgeon at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Haq is also a member of the teaching faculty for the residency training programs at both institutions.
As one of a handful of surgeons certified by the American Board of Phlebology, Dr. Haq has pioneered many laser vein treatments to establish less invasive alternatives to open surgeries for patients. Patient care is his No. 1 priority, and he works diligently to ensure that patients receive the best care possible in a timely, careful manner.
