Dr. Jonathan W. Singer is a board-certified osteopathic physician whose pioneering approach bridges the best of traditional, holistic, and functional medicine. As the founder and lead physician at HealthFirst in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Dr. Singer has dedicated his career to helping patients uncover the root causes of illness and achieve lasting, whole-body wellness.
Dr. Singer earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Food Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where his passion for science and natural health first took shape. During his graduate studies, he developed a natural alternative to the synthetic food colorant Yellow No. 5—a discovery now widely used in the food industry.
He went on to graduate with honors from the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa, and became one of the first physicians in the United States to earn board certification in holistic medicine. As part of this pioneering group, Dr. Singer helped establish many of the foundational scientific standards that shaped modern integrative and alternative medicine.
Dr. Singer is board-certified in Family Practice and Holistic Medicine and board eligible in Medical Acupuncture, Homeopathy, and Environmental Medicine. His expertise spans preventive care, chronic disease management, detoxification, and mind-body medicine.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Singer has been an active member and leader in numerous professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, and American College for Advancement in Medicine. He has served as a national delegate to both the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and is a past president of the Wyoming Osteopathic Medical Society as well as a past member of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine.

Dr. Singer is a great advocate for finding the root problem of your health concerns and treating that issue vs. just treating the symptoms of the problems. If you have a chronic condition that you can't seem to get to the bottom of, Dr. Singer can help! He has helped our family with IBD, Psoriatic Arthritis, Hashimoto's, hormone balance and chronic infection issues. I had a number of concerns. Dr. Singer patiently listened to them all. I wanted some blood tests Dr. Singer wasn't familiar with, so he looked them up and then wrote an order for them. I feel like I'm on a better path because Dr. Singer is my physician.

He explains issues, test results and options very well and has been notably familiar and informed in all areas of traditional and holistic treatments and recovery for me with my late stage cancer.
