Got questions for
Janie Hearden?
Janie works with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties. She adopts a holistic and trauma-informed approach, tailoring the therapeutic process to meet each client’s unique emotional, psychological, and relational needs. Janie integrates mindfulness-based psychosomatic therapies such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Her work is rooted in a person-centered and culturally competent framework, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and prior traumas. Janie believes that healing is a deeply individual process. She approaches therapy as a collaborative relationship that honors each client’s story, including their identity, culture, spirituality, and life history. With curiosity, empathy, and respect, she supports clients in accessing their inner strengths and fostering resilience. Above all, Janie views therapy as a journey of reconnection—with self, with others, and with the innate capacity for growth that often emerges in the wake of challenge.
