As far as I can tell, Jason really cares about his patients and wants to do right by them. My first appointment was my last ditch effort after 7 years of unsuccessful attempts to find treatment that actually worked for me. I had oShow morenly sought help for depression & anxiety until I began considering an assessment for ADHD after research and discussion with family and friends. I was so worried about not being taken seriously and being seen as lazy or weak or just wanting drugs, but I felt like he really saw and understood what I was struggling with. For the first time, I felt heard and like my concerns were valid. He was cautious in assessing the situation and I felt like he really cared to make sure that something else wasn't the issue first. We started with less addictive options which made me feel more comfortable about seeking treatment for ADHD as that was one of my main concerns. He's great at balancing starting slow to make sure you've given a medication enough time and a good chance to work, but not wasting your time and money by just adding another couple of months on if it isn't helping. Not even a year later I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel and I'm not breaking into tears at every appointment. He has been attentive to any and all concerns I've had, and when I felt that something wasn't working or having adverse effects, he listened and we discussed other options thoroughly so I understood what to expect and be mindful of. I never feel bad about asking lots questions or telling him if I want to look into other options. Overall very satisfied with my experience

After his master’s degree, he completed his post master’s degree at Southern Adventist University where he graduated with honors from their Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner’s program. Mr. Darden is a licensed and board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). He has over 18 years of psychiatric nursing experience working with a vast array of patients suffering from numerous psychiatric disorders. Terrific conversation as always! What stands out to me after talking with Jason is just how invested he is in me as a person. He goes about and beyond his duties as a mental health nurse practitioner. I know he’s always there for me to talk through whatever is causing me stress or anxiety. (Wether it’s related to my medication management or not) I feel truly blessed to have found Jason as a supporter, advocate, and pseudo-life coach for me!

Jason has been a tremendous resource and supporter of mine since I started meeting with him a few months back.
