Since becoming a patient of Dr. Turners I have been pleased with there services when I was sooo afraid they always assured me that every was going to be alright, they always thoroughly explain everything to me and put me at ease aShow morebout things that I am so afraid of. I had to get a D&C procedure done and I was so afraid I was up all night researching but the next morning I came into surgery and I saw Dr. Turner all my fears went out of the window when he said “ this procedure is safer than that ride you took to get here today” and that’s when I was ready lol I went in and didn’t ask another question and just as he said everything went perfectly. Everything was painless and successful because him and Mrs. Kathy had advised me of everything to do prior and after my surgery. Then today was my colposcopy and I was in fear of that as well until Dr.Turner explained everything to me and it went very well, I missed several appointments for my colposcopy procedure and everytime Mrs. Kathy called me and made sure she rescheduled for me, that made me feel good, they made me feel like they cared sometimes they cared more than I did. I love this team.
My experience today with the staff and with Dr. Grammer was very warm and professional. Specifically, the staff were knowledgeable regarding my questions; my visit with Dr. Grammer went very well; he is a very patient man, took aShow moren interesin my question regarding weight loss, sharing very professional and helpful information in which I will incorporate into my lifestyle. I have been patient since 2004 when he discovered my medical issue and successfully performed surgery--he is truly a blessing. Dr. John Grammer is a Board Certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has been serving patients at The Women’s Group in Pensacola, Florida since 2001.
Dr. Grammer has served our community on the board of the Healthy Start Coalition as vice president from 1997-1998 and president from 1999-2000. Dr. Grammer is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the Florida State University College of Medicine. He is the recipient of the FSUCOM 2014 Part-time Clinical Faculty Teaching Award in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Sacred Heart Hospital - Pensacola and the 2008 Mission Model Award for the Pensacola Regional Campus.
Dr. Grammer has additional training in surgical use of the laser and laparoscopic procedures, including the supercervical laparoscopic hysterectomy. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence, both medical and surgical. Basic infertility diagnosis and treatment is also available. Dr. Grammer also performs some surgeries using the daVinci Surgical System at Baptist, Sacred Heart and West Florida hospitals.
Dr. Grammer was born in El Paso, Texas and has lived in numerous locations throughout the United States and abroad as the son of an Army officer. He is married to Terrie and has three children. He enjoys music, hunting, deep sea fishing, salt water aquariums, gardening and spending time with his family.

The best place to go , if you want a gynecologist to understand you. I’ve been going to doctor Grammer for 25 years, and he has always provided me with the best care.
