I was nervous about proceeding with a big toe joint replacement, and came close to postponing it. Fortunately, the chat with Dr. Cameron during the pre-op appt, a week before surgery, put a stop to the anxiety and I began looking forward to it! Now I'm recuperating and anticipating getting back to normal activities with full range of motion and lack of pain I haven't had for decades. Already planning to have the joint replacement on the other foot a year from now or sooner.
