I have been blessed to have Kelly as my therapist for a long time, and I recently met with her and she really helps me examine parts of my life and work through so many of my issues. I've been with Maggie's for more the 8-9 yearsShow more. They are no longer mandatory; it's a part of my own accountability. Thank you, Kelly, for hanging in there for those of us that depend on you and Magnolia's.
Kelly Smiley is definitely the best at what she does. I've been going to Magnolia for almost 2 years, and without a doubt she and everyone there have been instrumental in any successes I've had over that time. They genuinely care Show moreand it shows. In short, Kelly Smiley and the entire Magnolia staff set the bar for helping you become the best version of yourself.

Kelly Smiley, ARNP?
Kelly Smiley, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a specialization in psychiatry. She sees patients at Magnolia Medical Group, which has locations in Denver and Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Kelly graduated with her MSN from the University of Miami in 2010, having obtained her accelerated BSN in 2005 from the same university. She began her nursing career in an intensive/critical care unit. Prior to nursing, she obtained a BA in Spanish literature from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in 1999. Upon completion of her MS, Kelly returned to Colorado, where she'd grown up, to begin her family and professional NP career.
Kelly began her NP career serving nearly six years as a primary care provider and clinic manager of a non-profit federally qualified health center providing free integrated medical, behavioral health, dental, and social services to Native American and Alaska Natives of all ages. She spent one year in geriatric medicine before specializing in psychiatric, mental health, and addiction medicine in 2019.
Kelly's approach is authentic, personable, and holistic. She values getting to know her patients on a personal level, ensuring her clients gain a full understanding of their health issues, and empowering them to collaboratively manage their health conditions and outcomes with her. She prioritizes finding the root cause of one's health problems, prioritizing each client's understanding of their foundational needs to promote their health and well-being.
Kelly's goal for clients is to thrive, not "just exist" or "get by." The foundation of her approach is achieving stability in three vital areas of life - work, play, and love. Her goal is to aid clients in achieving success and help them balance the three elements of life that are necessary to thrive - finding purpose in life, ensuring one's self-care and interests are actively enjoyed, and ensuring that one has sufficient social support. She does not "push" medications, is quite conservative regarding prescribing controlled substances, avoids polypharmacy/overmedicating, proactively works with clients towards goals of overcoming dependence on prescribed medications; she does recommend appropriate medication management when appropriate and/or necessary to assist one in achieving stability of symptoms.
Kelly is a first-generation American and former expatriate who's experienced first-hand the unique stressors associated with emigrating to a foreign land, which has helped guide her culturally competent approach to work. She's a world traveler who's lived in Denmark, Costa Rica, and Spain and is a Miami native. Kelly moved to Denver at age 12 and considers this to be her true "hometown." She lived in Lake Tahoe before moving to Colorado, spending many days after school and on weekends training on the slopes, ultimately becoming a ski and snowboard instructor at Breckenridge/Vail Resorts. She's a former long-distance runner, an avid gardener, loves reading just about anything, and she's multilingual - she speaks conversational Danish and Spanish, and she understands basic Norwegian, Italian, and Portuguese.
When not working, Kelly enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband, and extended family and friends. She's also got a soft spot for animals, currently with three rescues at home.

Great experience and highly recommend!
Kelley Smiley psychiatric NP has really helped to improve my life and how I see myself and how to cope with life’s ups and downs. She really listens, very insightful, empathic and intelligent. What I really like is how down to earth and real she is. She the best I have ever seen
Kelly is amazing and I love this place from the front desk, counselors, provider and the Suboxone treatment is amazing how well they all work together as a family I'm so happy with all the help they provide for me. I can't find a place like this anywhere so I strongly believe that you would call to see if it's a place for you..

I’ve seen countless psychiatrists over the years and Kelly is, all around, the best one! I think this woman really has more compassion on me than almost anyone in my life. That may sound like a stretch, but it’s not. Feel seen and heard, so we are working as a team. she’s sharp as a whip, attentive, patient, non judgmental, trustworthy, resourceful, etc. Yeah, I could keep going. She helps with every problem I’m facing…to the best her ability. I get to be fully transparent about my battles, no matter how much shame and guilt I’m carrying. Her own life is a beautiful testimony of hope. Im weary
Dr. Smiley is a breath of fresh air. I have always felt like she truly cares & i appreciate her passion for harm reduction addiction, & co-occurring mental health disorders. I always feel listened to. I am very grateful, and satisfied w/ my care from Dr. Kelly Smiley.
Kelly is smart and intuitive. She is not judgemental. She really went the extra mile with me by looking at my medical labs and disclosing to me that I have a serious medical condition that must be addressed now.
Is completely professional when it comes to starting new medications. He actually listens to what I have to say. I have had doctor's in the past that acted like my opinion was invalid.
Very knowledgeable & direct. His main interest seems to be your well being. Yes I would refer someone else to Mat
Kelly is amazing she does her job like it comes natural...I couldn't ask for anyone better
I have enjoyed working Kelly Smiley. She is concerned about my emotional, physical, and spiritual health. We had some differences and to her credit, we were able to discuss them, and I have a greater appreciation for her as a Dr in these moments. She listens to my concerns, asks good questions, and explains why she is prescribing meds or what other alternatives, to meds, etc. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking psychiatric help.
Don't know how I would have got through this without him
Dr. Matt has been a true game-changer in my mental health journey. After years of being prescribed medications without much thought or coordination, he took the time to carefully review my entire treatment plan. He noticed that the medications I was taking weren’t working well together and made thoughtful adjustments to my dosages. The positive impact was immediate! Dr. Matt isn’t just going through the motions—he genuinely cares about his patients and is committed to improving their quality of life. His dedication and personalized approach have made all the difference for me.
Blaine is a very pleasant provider I spoke with he was friendly and listened to my needs and care. The clinic staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend this clinic to any and everyone who is struggling with some form of addiction.
I was treated with the utmost respect. Blaine, was very empathetic to my illness & my circumstances to where he made sure my needs were met. He was professional & extremely knowledgeable about addiction & recovery. His mannerism is exceptional & to that he will is an asset to Magnolias practice & future endeavors. I am proud to say he was my provider in my healthcare. Thank you so much for the excellence in care that you gave me. Michelle
This place saved my life
it's good
Blaine and I established a good relationship, he listens and that’s important , along with treating me with respect
I love the way Kelley interacts with me on every level. I am a long timer of Magnolia. I've been receiving service for 7/8 years. Kelley is the best therapist for me.
Kelly is great, she makes me feel comfortable and offers great advice and actually pays attention to what I tell her. I am so grateful to have found her!
After years of being prescribed, the same medication’s and doses, it took only one session with Dr. Matt to see that what I was being prescribed was completely off. I was taking medications that canceled each other out. And no other provider took the time to recognize that. I’m super excited to release start to heal under his guidance.
she's very understanding and caring , i come to the center for her. She great I will continue to come to see here
Very supportive and professional
Blaine carries an emotional intelligence that includes empathy and advice to continue to move forward, hardly look back and suppress shame. He’s a solid person to consult. Whether your recovery has been long and rewarding or just starting, there is no judgement with him.
I wholeheartedly give Blaine a five-star rating. Although I have only had three appointments with him, each experience has been exceptionally positive. Blaine exudes a non-judgmental demeanor and demonstrates an extraordinary level of compassion, making me feel at ease every time we meet. On the other hand, I can only give Magnolia a one-star rating. Recently, the company made the baffling decision to terminate several of their best employees without any justifiable cause. These employees consistently went above and beyond in their roles, providing exceptional care not only to me but also to many other patients. Their dismissal is both disheartening and disappointing, casting a dark shadow over Magnolia Medical Group's reputation. It will be exceedingly difficult for Magnolia to find replacements who match the dedication and competence of those they have let go, particularly following their merger with another MAT clinic. While Blaine's exceptional service stands out, the overall direction and decision-making of Magnolia Medical Group have been deeply unsatisfactory. This recent mishandling indicates a significant lapse in judgment and has led to a decline in the quality of care. If you are in search of a reliable MAT clinic, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
You rock!
It was great I will keep going to you everyone was so friendly I was very comfortable
He has been the bright light in my life. Whenever I feel down or i'm having issues he's there to help me. If you're ever looking for a doctor for help please go to him. I was on pain medication for twenty years. I It was the best decision ever made. Not only do I suffer from medication abuse prescribed by doctors. But since I've been with Blaine, he has giving me a path to a better life. I suffer from social anxiety and mental issues and he helps me out with that also. He always makes sure that he makes you feel that you are the only patient he has. Thank you so much for everything.. I truly recommend you coming to this clinic and to see them. And also the doctors on the other side they are awesome.
Made the transition from the previous provider seamless which is very much appreciated.
