Dr. Kofi Nuako is the medical director and president of Summit Endoscopy Center, and he provides expert diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal conditions at Advanced Gastroenterology in the area of Union City, Tennessee.
He also oversees two other clinics that are part of his practice: The MediSpa and Summit Weight Loss, where patients receive comprehensive weight loss services including meal replacement.
Dr. Nuako received his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School. He completed his residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, then did a fellowship in gastroenterology at Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, Minnesota. He's board-certified in internal medicine with a specialty in gastroenterology and is a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
With experience in advanced gastroenterology spanning more than 20 years, Dr. Nuako’s patients rely on his expertise in endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, and capsule endoscopy. It was a simple and pretty easy prep. No problems there. It was a quick and easy exam at the office. It was over before I knew what was going on. LOL. I had no problems whatsoever.
I only saw the nurse practioner and had a colonoscopy . The procedure was painless. The prep is the only hard part.
