When I have an appointment at Grace Internal Medicine I'm seen by Dr. Allison Hutchinson. I’ve been seeing her for a long time. In my opinion she is the friendliest, nicest, kindest, most sweetest woman you could ever meet. WhenShow more I contacted Grace to inquire about Dr. Hutchinson possibly working me in for the day I was told by the receptionist that she would check to see if she would be able to see me and that she would call me back to let me know. The receptionist called me back about an hour or so later and informed me that Dr. Hutchinson's schedule was full that day but that Dr. Krista would be able to see me. I didn't know who Dr. Krista was and I had never been seen by her before. However, with my experience as a longtime patient with Grace Internal Medicine I knew that I would be in good hands and that I could trust her to take care of me so I scheduled the appointment. My first impressions of Dr.Krista is that she has a warming presents, she's a very active listener, and she’s easy to talk to. I was very happy with my visit with her, but it turns out that Dr. Hutchinson would have been able to squeeze me in that day.(Nvm how I know) but anyway I would’ve eventually had to see Dr.Krista because Dr. Allison will be on maternity leave soon; congratulations again Dr.Hutchinson. So me meeting with Dr.Krista was inevitable. Honestly, I love Grace Internal Medicine and its staff. I’ve never met with any doctor in this establishment and left not feeling heard, understood, truly cared for, and that my needs weren't met. I'm my experience every doctor that I've seen at GIM approach and bedside manner has always been gentle, informative, and respectful. I think Dr. Buffaloe has a great sense of discernment to have the ability to choose like minded doctors who's core values and morals align with his and what he represents as someone who is in the business of empowering his patience to understand their medical and mental health needs and to be a part of their own healing while providing top of the line care. My family and I have been long-term patients of Grace Internal Medicine and we intend to continue to the trend. Also, I plan to continue to refer friends, family and strangers too if I happen to be around when one mentions their need of a PCP ☺️

Krista was very attentive to my needs and concerns, and her bedside manner is truly top tier. I never felt rushed during my visit, which made such a difference. She took the time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and make sure Show moreI felt both heard and understood. What stood out to me the most is how genuine she is. It didn’t feel like just another appointment—I felt like she truly cared about me as a person, not just a patient. She was warm, welcoming, and created a space where I could be open and comfortable. When I left, I didn’t just feel seen—I felt reassured, respected, and confident in my care. That kind of experience is rare, and it meant a lot to me.

I consider FNP-C Krista Furman to be an exceptional provider. I first encountered her when a circumstance arose and my primary care provider was not available. She is an exceptional communicator and is genuine in providing true care. In having a lifetime dedicated to service as both a military veteran and first responder, my comments are based on real experiences. Whenever I have a medical matter, and my primary care provider is not available, I request to be seen by FNP-C Krista Furman. It is as if I have two primary care providers, both of whom I can trust in their abilities. I consider myself lucky and blessed to have providers that provide exceptional service.
