I’ve suffered with plantar fasciitis for years now, and have been a patient at several podiatrist clinics. I usually end up changing offices because I’m not a fan of their approach to treatment, or their general disregard for my oShow morepinion or autonomy. On a whim I switched to Dr. Winter’s office this year and I am so glad I did. Dr. Winter is amazing, I wish all of my healthcare providers were like her. She is kind, gentle, thoughtful, funny, and most importantly she respects me and listens to me. I appreciate her approach to medicine and my feet feel the best they’ve felt in years. Her staff is friendly, efficient, and responsive. I will continue visiting Dr. Winter, although I suspect she’s fixed me up so well I may not need to for a while. Dr. Scott and her assistant Carla did a great job when I needed a partial toenail removal on both toes. She went over my options, make sure I understood what was available to me, and let me know everything about the procedure I weShow morent with. Watching her do the procedure itself I could tell she's an expert and knows exactly what she's doing, I would recommend her to anyone experiencing discomfort/pain with ingrown toenails. Just had a follow-up and she was thorough in letting me know everything I needed to know moving forward, and prescribed an antibiotic since one toe was still swollen
At Foot Healers, the goal of podiatry specialist Krystle Scott, DPM, is to help patients to be the very best version of themselves. Dr. Krystle Scott is a native to Saint Louis, Missouri who has recently relocated to her hometown. Home is truly where the heart is.
Dr. Scott’s main focus is helping others. She has an extensive background history of giving back to her community whenever she can. That is one of the reasons that brought her into the field of medicine. She knows that every situation is not ideal, but she has the patience to try every avenue available to help her patients.
Her training background included a well-rounded, diverse atmosphere. She had the opportunity to work with a vast variety of patient populations including patients with Diabetes Mellitus, End-Stage Renal Disease, and Severe Peripheral Arterial Disease. This allowed her to have an extensive background in her passion for wound care as well as limb salvage. Dr. Scott has surgical and conservative training for many common foot and ankle pathologies.
Dr. Scott is a graduate of Saint. Louis University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Biology. She received a Masters in Health Science at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Scott obtained her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland and completed her residency at Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center.
When Dr. Scott is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also loves hiking, traveling, barre classes, and cooking.

I previously visited the other location she was at and experienced a different doctor and was not satisfied so now I just have to travel the distance but its worth it. I really like Dr Krystal Scott. She took time with me for my visit for diabetic toenail trimming. Once that procedure was done, I felt immediate relief. My toes did not ache any longer and my walking seemed to really improve. I’ll always recommend Dr Krystal Scott for foot care
