Margaret Cusack, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP, is a family nurse practitioner and the co-owner of Healthcare at the Grove. Margaret provides compassionate health care for children and adults in Coppell, Texas.
Margaret, also known as Megan, believes that nursing was her calling in life. Her Grandma Jean wanted her to be a doctor who takes care of older people, but Megan was passionate about becoming a nurse. While doctors were always busy assisting patients, moving in and out of rooms, nurses could slow down a bit more and spend time interacting with their patients.
She moved to Texas in 2002, starting her career as a labor and delivery nurse. After spending five years in the field, she attended Texas Woman’s University for her master’s degree. Margaret graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2006 as a nurse practitioner, and has since been working in various disciplines, including urgent care, correctional care, and family medicine.
Though everyday brings new challenges as a nurse practitioner, Margaret enjoys every experience. She is grateful for the opportunities and relationships formed with her patients and their families, and looks forward to helping them navigate through each health issue.

My experience went very well. The nurse who greeted me and took my vitals was super sweet. I’ve been on the hunt for a new PCP for a while now, and I have FINALLY found one! I had my first visit with Margaret yesterday and she was great. She thoroughly listened to all of my questions and concerns, and quickly made a plan of action. In the past with other providers, I have felt brushed off or just not heard. Margaret did not make me feel that way at all. I loved the office and all of the staff!

The doctors are very nice, professional, and easy to talk to about my health concerns. I always feel comfortable and never feel rushed. This was my first time to see Morgan McGee, FNP. She was everything you look for in a primary care physician. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The office is clean and inviting. I always have a positive experience at Healthcare at the Grove. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!

Dr. Cusack always makes me feel comfortable to share things with her and like my concerns are valid. Because of some previous negative experiences with doctors from other practices, I have a hard time trusting medical professionals. Dr. Cusack has helped restore my faith in doctors. She is professional, understanding, reassuring, inquisitive, knowledgeable, and efficient. I never feel judged or dismissed by her. I'm so thankful I found Dr. Cusack and would absolutely recommend her. She's truly incredible.
It has been such a relief to work with a knowledgable provider who wants to work with me to figure out the cause and not just bandaid a solution. Her functional approach to medicine is key
