Margaurette Walsh is a Certified Physician Assistant who received her Master's Degree in Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science in Boston, Massachusetts in 2007. She worked at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachuesttes for several years as a Surgical Physician Assistant specializing in trauma emergency care, surgical oncology, and bariatric procedures assisting in the operating room and managing perioperative patients on the surgical floors. In 2013, Margaurette and her family moved to Texas and since then she has worked in outpatient family primary care and realized there was a deep need for all-encompassing patient health that would allow healing and full body wellness. With a background in bariatric surgery, she came to realize that patients needed more than a surgical procedure to change their weight, their health, and their future to decrease their comorbidities and improve their life. Since then, she has had a strong passion to resolve the main underlying health issue that encompasses so many chronic symptoms and ailments. Her purpose is the same goal she has for her patients and that is to live a life fully and meaningfully, which all starts within. Her dream in life is what she is doing now; to educate and to help others live healthy and the best they can be. One day, she would like to do medical missionary work. Margaurette is married with two children; whom she loves experiencing life with at all the different stages. She spends the majority of her time being a mom - the endless carpools, getting kids to practice before the sun rises and back home when practice runs over late at night, putting out her rocker chair on the sidelines to cheer at all the variety of sport games, having her knowledge be tested with her kid's homework (thank goodness for google at these times), and all the other things that come along. In the other possible open times, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, traveling near and far, and just spending time with friends and family.
