Mario Celaya, PA, is a Physician Assistant at Living Water Community Health and Wellness Clinic in Lindsay, California.
Mario arrived in Tulare County in 1986 after he graduated as a Medical Doctor from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, one of the most prestigious universities in Mexico. He knew exactly what he wanted to do when he arrived, but also knew the journey wouldn't be easy. Mario married Ana Rosa Robles, his classmate from medical school, and together they decided to move from Jalisco, Mexico to California.
Mario had to adjust to a new environment while learning English, supporting his family, and doing farm labor. He caught his first break in the medical field in 1987 when he became a surgical technician. In 1992, he was admitted to another prestigious institution, this time in the States. He began to pursue his medical career as a Physician Assistant.
Mario graduated from the Stanford University Primary Care Program in 1994 and has passionately dedicated his profession to the underserved population of Tulare County ever since. Mario and his wife, Ana Rosa Celaya, PA-C, have proudly and respectfully worked together for many years, not only taking care of the sick but being actively involved in the prevention of chronic diseases and strengthening the family relations for which they both are passionate about.
This amazing Mexican couple shows exceptional work ethic, a profound ability to overcome obstacles, and perseverance to endure any hardship in order to serve the greater good of the community, not only via their medical profession but as community leaders with the hope and plan to inspire generations to come.

Mario Celaya takes the time to listen to your health issues and explains to you what needs to be done to take care of it. If he cannot, he will refer you to a specialist to help. He is patient and trustworthy. I have referred people to him wholeheartedly!!!
