Maxine Rachelle, PA-C, is a compassionate, board-certified physician assistant who brings more than two decades of clinical experience to the team at Restoration Orthopedics in Naples, Florida. Practicing as a physician assistant since 2001, she has an extensive background in orthopedic surgery robotics, musculoskeletal medicine, and complex neurosurgical care, including conditions affecting the brain and spinal cord, tumors, traumatic injuries, and hemorrhages.
Throughout her career, Maxine has been deeply involved in both pre-operative and post-operative management, fracture care, and joint injections, with a strong emphasis on restoring mobility and optimizing functional outcomes. Her experience working in fast-paced, high-volume clinical environments has shaped a calm, detail-oriented approach that prioritizes safety, precision, and evidence-based care. Within pediatrics, she applies this expertise to help children and adolescents recover from injuries, manage musculoskeletal conditions, and return to their daily activities with confidence.
Maxine earned her Bachelor of Science through the Physician Assistant Program at the School of Health Professionals at the Medical College of Philadelphia/Hahnemann in August 2000. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and Social Sciences with a focus on Health Professions from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
She is an active member of the Physician Assistant Orthopedic Association (PAOS), the New York State Society of Physician Assistants (NYSSPA), and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Known for her collaborative, team-driven mindset, Maxine is passionate about delivering thoughtful, high-quality care that supports the long-term health and development of every child she serves.

I’ve had Dr Levitsky as my orthopedic surgeon for quite some time now and I’m extremely pleased with his ability to solve the plethora of issues I’ve been dealing with. He always takes the time to explain things in detail and comes up with a great game plan to address and resolve these issues! He’s an amazing doctor and a heckuva a person! He always puts the patients needs above anything else! I am seeing 8-9 different specialists right now and he is at the very top of the list! Thank you doc for always giving 110%! I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of first class orthopedic care!

Dr. Levitsky operated on me and replaced my right hip. The surgery was very successful. I completed my rehab & I was back in the gym 2 months later. He continued to monitor my progress to ensure that I continued to fully heal. Talented surgeon and just a GOOD guy! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing hip surgery!

Dr. Levitsky is highly knowledgeable and proficient with total hip replacement. The anterior procedure enabled me to to walk without assistance (walker, cane or person) in TWO weeks. Three months later I’m back to walking 3 miles per day 6 days per week. OUTSTANDING!!!

He knew right away what shot to give and where. My MRI was on the Screen and he had information from my referring Dr. Frenkel. He was concerned about my pain and explained what was causing it. Chances are I will be back in the fall for another one.

I am now 2 1/2 weeks post surgery with a total knee replacement and could not be happier with the results. Not only is Dr. Levitsky charming but is also a highly skilled surgeon that used state of the art technology during the procedure. His knowledge and perfection in his work has resulted in astounding recovery on my behalf. Never did I dream that at this point in recovery that I would I be able to be climb steps and walk without aid. But it doesn’t stop here … Dr. Levitsky continues to research medical advancements for the benefit of his patients. I am so grateful to his team at Restoration Ortho. If there were more than Five STARS Dr. Levitsky would receive ALL!! I Highly recommend this doctor.

My experience with Dr. Levitsky and his staff was excellent! He informed me of the smallest of details leading up to my 2nd knee replacement on the same leg. This was due to a metal allergy that was causing me a multitude of issues. His in depth knowledge, compassion, & sense of humor actually made this as pleasant of an experience as it could be. I have just started my PT and feeling better every day. He has done enough to encourage me to have my other knee & hips replaced! Thanks for everything Doc and keep doing what you do!
