I hate going to any Dr nowadays. I know they are overwhelmed but please let me explain my issues before pushing me out the door. Not the experience I received today! Dr Bajwa was anything but. He took the time to explain my issShow moreue and I finally have a solution and explanation for my symptoms. Four days in the hospital in February, since then bounced around in every direction trying to get answers. . I’ve had to advocate for myself several times almost costing me my life, literally. So I’m passionate when I explain my issues and concerns, I want to make sure I’m heard and we are on the same page. Yes, it takes up extra time and I’ve seen several Drs just one time and decided I would not go back due to their lack of patience and not allowing me to explain myself. The health field is so overwhelmed and I understand. However, so am I. For a year I saw my PCP on five occasions explaining my concern with extreme weight loss, in addition to other things. Let’s do blood work, looks great! Back again, something is still not right Doc. Blood work again. Fast forward ER visit at this point I’m barely standing. OMG a tumor the size of a grapefruit resulting in a right side colon resection and tumor. Exactly, patients know their body’s and know when something is off. Please allow us to explain. Oh I was so relieved after seeing him that I was near the end of a long journey of advocating for myself. Thank you so much Dr! I can’t wait to get my life back again. I looked him up prior to seeing him and saw nothing but good reviews. I prayed that he still held those values other reviews showed. He certainly did! He was still very kind, patient and had a personality and took the time to really explain to the extent of why the symptoms are occurring.
This is my second time with Dr. Bajwa. I live in Prescott and it takes up to two months to get an appointment with a neurosurgeon here. I had an MRI on Friday and he called me the following Wednesday to let me know the results andShow more scheduled an appointment for my procedure right then. I cannot say enough good things about Him and his staff. I am very happy with their response.
Nav Bajwa is Board Certified, fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon who completed his Bohlman spine surgery fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. There, he received specialized training in minimally invasive techniques, management of spinal tumors, spine trauma, and degenerative conditions of the spine. Prior to his fellowship, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of South Alabama. He was also involved with a bone health clinic in his residency as a part of own the bone initiative. Dr. Bajwa specializes in the operative and non-operative treatment of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Such as: Cervical fusion, Lumbar fusion, Minimally invasive cervical/lumbar fusions, Minimally invasive SI joint fusions, Treatment of compression fractures including kyphoplasty, Carpal tunnel surgery, as well as Osteoporosis Fracture Treatments.
Born and raised in Punjab, India, Dr. Bajwa completed his medical school training at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital following which he spent three years as a research fellow at Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University. During this time he published and presented numerous papers at national and international conferences, particularly in the field of age related spine degeneration, correlation of spine degeneration with hip, knee and ankle arthritis, congenital cervical and lumbar stenosis and tandem stenosis. Dr. Bajwa is a member of multiple professional organizations including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery (AAOS), North American Spine Society (NASS), Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS), Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) and International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine (ISSLS). Dr. Bajwa is fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi.

Was my first visit there and I can tell you when I’m at the doctor do I he explained everything to me what the process was going to be what was being done how it was going to be done made me feel very good and my two support people that were with me felt the same way merry impressed with him
Great surgeon Dr. Bajwa did my lumbar spine surgery. Dr. Bajwa is very compassionate, answers all questions and concerns that you might have. I trust him completely that I'm going have cervical surgery .
I thought Dr Bajwa was very nice and addressed my problems. He took time with me. I recommend him highly.
Dr Bajwa made me feel very comfortable when I was nervous. His bedside manager is steller. I recommend him.
Excellent experience for my first visit . I was able to see him within one week of referral from ER. He was on time seeing me and spent time going over my health history and doing an exam.
Dr Bajwa is wonderful l really trust him He truly cares answers all your questions until you completely understand never rushes you . Great personality and a awesome surgeon lf you have back problems l highly recommend him

Dr. Bajwa is a very unpleasant person who has no empathy within him. In 60 years of seeing doctors, I've never had one shout at me. I'm 77 and in a great deal of pain. He has no bedside manners and is downright rude, and made things so much worse and confusing by his attitude. The waiting area is shabby with dirty floor and torn upholstery. I will never return to this place.

I’ve had chronic pain for years, and I know that Mike understands and gives wonderful advice and suggestions. If you can get a pain care provider like Mike I truly feel you struck the lottery!
Mike listens and is very very through. He's starting his new chapter in life...not here in AZ and this is truly bittersweet!! He will be missed by myself. He's the 1st pain professional that HEARD ME SPEAK & actually listened. I'd been to 3-4 other pain clinics in Mesa/Tempe and even in Phx. All arrogance and not able to hear a cry of pain and a request for help. Adv pain has been nothing short of miraculous....and thanks to Mike for being "that" person,the best kind!!
