About Patricia Chandler, PMHNP-BC

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over two decades of experience in the field of mental health. I began my career in a medical center, where I treated patients seeking behavioral health services in the inpatient setting. While I attended graduate school, I worked in a psychiatric outpatient clinic where I collaborated with a team of PMHNPs to provide mental healthcare services for patients across the lifespan. Here, I gained the skills in treating mood disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, and chronic mental illnesses through psychiatric assessment, medication management, and other psychiatric therapeutic interventions. My clients can expect a thorough psychiatric examination, a mutually established goal, and an understandable explanation of their diagnosis and treatment plan. My goal is to treat my patients in a compassionate, empathetic manner in a safe, stigma-free environment
