About Precious Steele

Precious earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ashford University and her Master's degree in Social Work from Capella University. During that time she had the experience of working with community mental health, addiction, depression, suicidality, anxiety, and life crisis. She later gained experience working in a psychiatric hospital, expanding her experience with a focus on providing group and individual therapy. Her approach integrates CBT/DBT, emotional interviewing, trauma-informed care, client-focused models and strength-based focus in a welcoming environment for her community with the intention to create meaningful, sustainable change. Precious is a Colorado native and mother of two. She is very family oriented, enjoys the outdoors and arts and crafts. She aso loves to travel and create new meaningful memories.
