About Dr. Rama Muddaraj, MD

Since 1981, Rama Muddaraj, MD has been helping patients in the Goodyear, Arizona area overcome both minor and severe health conditions through expert surgical intervention. To offer each patient the best, most advanced surgical care possible, Dr. Muddaraj is an expert in laparoscopic techniques that significantly reduce the risks associated with traditional surgery.

And Dr. Muddaraj doesn’t stop there. Besides his work in laparoscopic surgery, he also avails himself of the latest technology in robotic surgery to offer an extra degree of precision and accuracy for all of his procedures.

Dr. Muddaraj earned his medical degree from Karnataka Medical College in Hubli, India. After coming to the United States, he became a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the American Society of General Surgeons, and the Phoenix Surgical Society. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

To help young doctors learn the latest surgical techniques, Dr. Muddaraj is a clinical assistant professor at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.

While Dr. Muddaraj has considerable experience and expertise in all areas of general surgery, he has additional training in hernia repair, and his areas of interest include treatment of breast disease and laparoscopic hernia surgery.
