I had a very good experience with Ms. Watson. She took her time and addressed my concerns. However, as I have gotten older and see more and more doctors, I would appreciate the notes of the visit to be available to me due to my poShow moreor memory. A lot was discussed about new non-steroidal creams and I became very confused on the discussion. In addition to this, I am hard of hearing so struggle to hear all that is discussed between myself, the nurse and Ms. Watson.
Dr. Vekaria was very pleasant and clearly knows exactly what she is doing. I also appreciated her confidence in putting me at ease that this is a minor thing and can be addressed. I was a bit turned off at just how nonchalantly shShow moree said “I do this everyday and this is no big deal.” No matter if it is just “no big deal” you just told me I probably have cancer. It’s a big deal to me. Try have a bit better bedside manners.
Rebecca Watson, NP-C, is a family nurse practitioner at Cleaver Medical Group Dermatology in Toccoa, Georgia. She has been seeing patients of all ages and genders at the Toccoa office since August 2021.
Rebecca received her associate degree in nursing in 2011 from North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega (now one of four campuses of the University of North Georgia). She earned her bachelor’s degree with honors in 2017 at Jacksonville State University in Alabama and her master’s degree in 2019 from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Rebecca is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Dermatology Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
