Sarah Evans, MD, FACOG, is one of the skilled OB/GYNs practicing at the Contemporary Women’s Care office in Winter Park, Florida. Dr. Evans received her undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida and her medical degree from Florida State University. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Florida Shands Health Hospital in Gainesville.
During her medical career, she was nominated into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. She received her certifications in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery and Da Vinci Robotic Surgery.
Born and raised in Florida, Dr. Evans is excited to practice in the state that she calls home. She enjoys all aspects of OB/GYN because she loves helping women through every stage of their life. Among all professional rewards, one of the most joyous is delivering babies safely into this world and being a guest at their very first birthday party!
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two pets, traveling, and looking for shows to binge-watch.

She was nice and very informative.
This was my first experience with this office, along with my first pregnancy. At first I felt like I was being bounced around from provider to provider. Don't get me wrong they are all very nice and willing to help, but felt like some communication got lost with each appointment. I am so happy that I ended up with Dr. Shringarpure to deliver my baby! 10 out of 10 recommend!! I never once felt dismissed with her and she would stay and answer all my questions as needed. If I were to get pregnant again I would absolutely go back with Dr. S <3
This is my second pregnancy, and I’m happy to see significant improvements since my first! Three years ago, I had several issues with the front office when scheduling and rescheduling appointments, but now the process is much smoother. The front office staff is attentive, scheduling is easier, and the patient portal works well. I also have a new doctor, Dr. Shringarpure, and I truly appreciate her. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and explains everything calmly and thoroughly. I love her energy and hope that never changes! Overall, my experience has been positive so far. I’m deducting one star because they still cancel appointments if you’re even five minutes late. While this hasn’t happened to me, it’s stressful knowing it could.

Dr. Evans is one of the best Doctors I have ever had (and having a mystery illness, I’ve had a lot). She is friendly, attentive, and takes my needs seriously. It is so refreshing to go to a practice without being dismissed or gaslit. I wish I had more experiences like this when going to the doctor! I cannot recommend her enough.

Dr. Shringarpure is not my normal MD, so I wasn’t too sure how my apt would go. And I must say it went exceptionally well. She had such a welcoming presence, easy to talk to, sweet and funny! I would def see her again and recommend to all future patients

Dr. Evans is amazing. Before I was referred to her practice, I had been to other OB/GYNs who were dismissive of my pain and offered no solutions. At my very first appointment, Dr. Evans had thoroughly read through all my past medical records and imaging, and came prepared with a plan. She got to the bottom of things right away and, importantly, took the issue seriously before I had even met her. I so very very highly recommend her.

If I could give Dr. Evans 6 stars, I would! Dr. Evans made me feel very comfortable and relaxed when I was very visibly nervous for my first Well Women’s exam! Between laughing at my wise-crack jokes, reassuring me about my anxieties regarding the exam, and being thorough and informative about what was being performed throughout the exam, Dr. Evans made this appointment so easy and simple. I would recommend her and this practice to all the women I know!
