Sarah Farrokh is a Board-certified physician assistant at Skin Care Specialists in East Mesa and Scottsdale, Arizona, specializing in general and surgical dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude, and completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Duke University. She then advanced her training by completing a dermatology fellowship at Charlotte Dermatology in the Carolinas and holds Fellow Diplomate status with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Sarah’s passion for dermatology stems from her lifelong experience managing eczema and her understanding of how skin concerns can affect self-esteem and quality of life. She provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, treating a wide range of skin, hair, and nail concerns. Her clinical interests include patient education, skin cancer screening and prevention, rashes, and the diagnosis and treatment of common conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea.
Sarah believes in treating every patient the way she would want her own family and close friends to be treated. She prioritizes making sure patients feel comfortable, heard, and supported throughout their visit. She focuses on educating patients about their condition so they feel informed and empowered, and she works collaboratively with each patient to create a personalized treatment plan.
Sarah is committed to providing excellent care by staying current with the latest advances in dermatology. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and the Arizona Dermatology Physician Assistant Society (ADPAS).
Originally from Phoenix, Sarah is excited to return home, put down roots, and serve the community that helped raise her. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and skiing (always with SPF), as well as pilates, traveling, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops with her husband, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Dr Nunez shows sincere concern over his patient's needs to maintain healthy skin care. On my recent visit, he was attentive to my issues and was very patient in listening to me. He addressed all of my needs with care along with the help of his assistant nurse who was very helpful and supportive making sure I had all of the information that I needed to care for my skin needs.

Quick and easy

Went for my first full-body check and I was a little nervous. Dr. Nunez was calm, friendly, informative. He and Nurse Madison were just fantastic and I won’t put off my annual screening ever again! (Also, he removed one mole that was nagging me - took 5 seconds - painless and quick.)

Thorough exam was not rushed. No major concerns popped up and that’s always a good thing. A few freezing of dry spots and I was on my way. I would recommend Dr Nunez without hesitation.

Dr Nunez and his assistant did a fantastic job, I came in for a cyst removal and Dr caught a bunch of pre cancerous skin bumps and immediately froze them off I was awfully impressed with his fast action I will become a patient with him without hesitation I wish he was a general practice Dr id love to have him as my primary
