I had been to a "weight-loss clinic" prior to this this one over a year ago. I got a Groupon and called it a day. While I did lose weight, it was not done in a healthy way. I was not monitored as closely or with as much care. TheShow morey never did labwork, talked diet, exercise or monitored my overall health. Nor were my concerns addressed about the side effects on my medication I was prescribed. I ultimately stopped going, gained the weight back and hit a deeper point in my depression. When I came to Preimier Weight-loss there was an immediate difference! They did labwork, measurements, talked about diet, and exercise. It was a very difficult first visit because you have to allow yourself to be extremely truthful and vulnerable, but they are all so non-judgmental. Shortly after deciding to take control of my health, I became unemployed. I thought I'd never catch a break and I was struggling to even get out of bed, I was so depressed. I was about to give up on my weight-loss journey but my Mom encouraged me to keep going. I met Sara on my third visit. Sara's kindness and understanding speaks to my soul. We focused less on food/exercise and focused more on celebrating small successes while getting through such a low point. She also would add small tips and tricks that are super helpful with my weight-loss journey. Sara's support has helped me to consistently lose weight while also recognizing it's okay to not be okay while going rough spots in life. I appreciate the entire team there, especially Sara.
