Board-certified family medicine physician Sebastian Joseph, MD, provides caring and compassionate care to patients of all ages at Seby Medical Center, located in the Roseland area of Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Joseph earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He completed a rotating internship at Medical College Trichur Calicut University in Kerala, India. He completed his residency in family practice at Jackson Park Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where he gained extensive hands-on experience in family medicine subspecialties including internal medicine, emergency medicine, psychiatry, pediatrics, surgery, geriatrics, and sports medicine.
Following his residency, Dr. Joseph held clinical appointments at South Point Family Practice in Belmont, North Carolina, and MIT Hospital in Trichur. He has worked at Seby Medical Center since 2010. He has also worked as a faculty member in anesthesiology and surgery at the Medical College in Trichur, India.
Dr. Joseph is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians.

Dr. Joseph is caring and has a great personality, sometimes the reception/desk personnel isn’t the best, but the doctor is awesome always.
Clinical staff member very unfriendly, argumentative and disrespectful. Wanting to banter back and forth because I wanted to know how much she was charging on my card for my copay. Then the drama was so unprovoked she started to cry. The drama if it all. She makes me not want to go back.

I was kind of annoyed that my insurance provider just automatically selected Dr. Joseph as my PCP (because I CHOOSE whomever I see! LoL), so I INITIALLY planned on finding my own at the start of the enrollment period. I'm soooo glad that I have him a Chance! He's super chill and thorough. This medical staff is also top tier. Their office is very quaint and personable. It's also a one stop shop for my other providers. I think I've found my new medical group home.

The 1-star is because the Nurse practitioner and front desk staff were professional and engaging. However, Dr. Sebastian discredited a professional Clinical Psychologist doctor and his title and tried to feed me misinformation regarding psychological pathology and I don't think he's aware of his lapse in information for specialties he is not familiar with. I will not be returning.
I love the professionalism of the staff. My first time at this office and the passion that the staff is overwhelmingly great. Everyone had a positive attitude and hustle to assure the patients that they will be assisted promptly. Way to go Seby Clinic for having such a caring staff. First impression are lasting impressions.
