About Shane Drahos, MD

Following the completion of his Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Stanford University in 2019, Dr. Drahos began working at the Orlando VA Medical Center. In 2020, he became the Section Chief of Sleep Medicine and led the department until 2023 when he resigned to create Premier Sleep Medicine. Dr. Drahos specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Narcolepsy, Idiopathic Hypersomnia, and Dream Enactment Behavior (including REM Sleep Behavior Disorder and Trauma Associated Sleep Disorder). His passion for these sleep disorders has driven him to spread awareness and education as an expert speaker to sleep providers throughout the country.
