Dr. Obey is truly phenomenal. She is pioneering the way for Black women in medicine and provides exceptional, compassionate care to her patients. I feel so grateful to have found her. I loved her attitude and most of her motivation and encouragement. :)
I really like the staff they are very friendly, polite and professional. The office is always clean and welcoming. Dr. Shawanda is great, professional, knowledgeable and humbled. She always does the best for patients.

I truly have no words to describe my experience with Dr. Obey. From the moment she walked in the room and I met her I knew this was her calling, Woman’s health! I have been struggling to find a female doctor that understands what I am going through with my perimenopause symptoms. She took the time to listen to me as if she was my friend. She really understood everything I was going through and had so much knowledge regarding menopause . She is the only doctor who has been able to help me.
Dr.Obey has to be one of the most caring, genuine, present doctors I have been treated by. She is sharp, and knowledgeable. I could genuinely feel her concern and care in her mannerisms. She removed a cervical polyp so swiftly and painlessly. It was a great pleasure to meet her.

Dr. Obey performed circumcision on our newborn. It was definitely heartbreaking seeing our newborn go through this - however, knowing Dr. Obey’s professionalism, knowledge, care, and passion, we entrusted her with our newborn. 5 days after the operation, our newborn is recovering very well with no signs of discomfort. Thanks Dr. Obey!
